Milano per la Scala

The Foundation "Milano per la Scala" was established in 1991 thanks to the initiative of 124 Founders from the world of industry and Milanese culture.
In 1999, it became a founding member of the Theatre, strengthening its commitment and involvement in the life of La Scala and, for the first time, bringing together the voice of the public with that of major financial supporters.
Since 13 June 2023, it has been registered in the National Register of Third Sector Entities (RUNTS) and has become a Third Sector Philanthropic Organisation.

The mission is to promote, support and improves the Teatro alla Scala through cultural activities and fundraising.

Milano per la Scala has over 600 supporters, about half of whom are under the age of 45. The Foundation is supported by membership fees, which range from a minimum of 50 euros to attract young people to the theatre, to significant amounts donated by generous patrons and supporters.
The offer for supporters includes numerous benefits and opportunities to experience the great tradition of La Scala at first hand: invitations to stage and orchestra rehearsals of operas and ballets, personalised ticketing service, gala evenings, educational meetings, guided tours of the theatre's facilities, musical and cultural trips and excursions.

The current President, Mr. Giuseppe Faina, has held the position since 2006 and is supported by a Board of Directors composed of 17 Members, including the Superintendent of Teatro alla Scala an honorary member.
